The brands will be revealed on the recently re-vamped MCRFW website www.mcrfashionweek.com from 5pm tonight so I am bringing you all the fashion news first.
First up are the online giants and MCRFW sponsor, boohoo.com - who are headlining the event this year. We will get the chance to see all their latest trends and upcoming the next boohoo boutique line which is not available until the end of April.
Also showing at MCR Fashion Week this year are NEXT, Forever 21, Ted Baker and Reiss. I'm particularly excited about seeing Forever 21's collection as they are such a huge brand taking the UK by storm. They opened their first UK store in the Bullring in Birmingham and now have stores popping up all over the place including the Trafford Centre, Manchester.
But one of the highlights of the High Street shows will be seeing Made in Chelsea star, Jamie Laing showcase his Candy Kittens label on his first ever runway! Jamie will be attending MCRFW for his debut show and hosting a pop-up candy shop featuring Candy Kittens Spring/Summer range of sweets and apparel.
MCRFW will host 30 fashion shows and 20 exhibition spaces throughout the 5 day event. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday is dedicated to High Street trends, Thursday is a New Talent and Education showcase and Friday will see luxury designer collections take to the catwalk.
Designers and luxury brands showing on the final day of MCRFW will be announced in the next few weeks when all show tickets go on sale to the general public. Tickets will start at £10.
