Ways to Wear - Mint Green Blazer

I've always been one to love a simple boxy blazer - they are perfect to throw on over almost anything. This beautiful mint green one was sent to me from the lovely people at Glamorous and I decided to feature it in a 'Ways to Wear' post to show you all just how versatile blazers are. This pastel coloured one is great for the summer months but can be a little trickier to style than say, a black blazer so here are a few of my own ideas...

Here's a look I don't aim for much but it makes the perfect summer festival outfit. I'm dressing the blazer down by wearing it casually over a bandeau crop top and denim high waist shorts. Push up the sleeves and pop on your trainers. The material of this blazer is so soft and comfortable it's suitable for day time wear and rolling or turning up the sleeves. I've plaited the front section of my hair and shoved the rest back into a messy bun for a relaxed easy hairstyle. This look is also great for walks in the park, holidays or a BBQ.

This is probably the easiest way to wear any bright colour. I've made this outfit semi-casual by turning to creepers instead of heels and wearing my hair loose and messy. You could easily take this to a glamorous night time look. Absolutely loving my new creepers from Tribeca Shoes - especially paired with Disco Pants. An alternative to the expensive Disco Pants would be just some leather look leggings or skinny black jeans. 

To a Wedding

Who says you can't wear white to someone else's wedding! You can if you pair it with a mint green blazer and brown sandal wedges. This outfit would also be perfect for summer parties. It's my Gossip Girl look and requires a classy brown clutch bag. This is the way to wear a blazer for formal or semi formal occasions and you can't go wrong with a white playsuit or dress.
